They seem to be of very good quality steel and have nice weight and feel to them. Both the spoon and fork have decent depths so they can actually hold good volume of food in them. The fork has two fairly pointed tips - I tend to be careful when using it with real silver or other delicate materials. The finish is very beautiful with sparkling shine. To maintain the shine, they do need to be handwashed and towel dried right away - I put them in dishwasher once or twice, they came out looking dull. It may also have something to do with the fact that I have very hard water here and it tends to leave spots everywhere - my stainless steel pans and pots, countertop, shower door, plumbing fixtures, etc. Bottom line, if you can work with the size and take care of them, these are excellent set of server pieces. |
